Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at age of 14. After her kickboxing and boxing lessons, BJJ and wrestling she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd was able to win three fights over the course of a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first minute. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen as she beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd rebounded from her loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score one of the fight's TKOs in the initial round. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first match in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission during the second round. Her superior wrestling abilities has smashed McGill as she was able finish her third round with a TKO (elbows and strikes). In the following fight, she took on Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd fell short of weight. Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her at the end of round two via TKO. Her final fight with Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Her UFC debut took place at UFC Fight Night 118 when she was up against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina using ground and pound to win by TKO in the second round. She came back to her winning ways and racked up an impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger. The fight was at UFC 229. Ladd defeated Evinger in the first round and got a performance of the night's prize. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent for an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. Ladd's victory was a unanimous victory, and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak within less than 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round of UFC which was broadcast on ESPN 7. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The UFC Fight Night 195 fight was decided unanimously in her favor.
