Kat Dennings, born Katherine Victoria Litwack on the 13th of June, 1986, in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania was the first born child of Ellen and Gerald Dennings. Ellen was her mother. She worked as a speech-therapist and poet. Gerald, her father was a professor as well as a molecular pharmacist. Dennings was raised in an Jewish family and was the youngest child. Dennings did not attend a conventional school for long but was instead homeschooled. When she started acting at a young, she found that homeschooling was the best solution.
